Great fun even without four players!
This game completely took over my entire week. I wasn't sure what to expect as I haven't played some of the more modern and popular action rpgs of this style, but fighting hordes of monsters while navigating maze-like levels and looking for secrets is every bit as fun as it sounds!

This game completely took over my entire week. I wasn't sure what to expect as I haven't played some of the more modern and popular action rpgs of this style, but fighting hordes of monsters while navigating maze-like levels and looking for secrets is every bit as fun as it sounds!
I played the N64 version as the blue wizard and finished off the final Skorne fight around level 82 on normal difficulty. The only times I really needed to grind were when I lost a good bit of health and wanted to get it back without paying gold. The gameplay is addicting, and while the graphics and audio do show their age on this version, they don't detract much from the overall experience.
Worth trying out if you're an N64 junkie or into action rpgs!
