I’ve always wanted more games in the Pokémon universe that weren’t all about battling. Not only do you get to see a different side of Pokémon, but they can really change stuff up like the art style:

I really like that look on some of these Pokémon. I would even say this is one of my favorite renderings of Pokémon I’ve ever seen.

Unfortunately, the game itself is a bit too simplistic to be engaging past the first couple sittings. The café part is pleasant enough, but I’m not even going to bother sharing a screenshot of the puzzle gameplay because it only makes sense in motion, but it’s basically an “action puzzle” style game where you drag icons around to form them into matching groups that clear adjacent obstacles. Go look for Pokémon Trozei, or even better, Pokémon Puzzle League, and you’ll have more fun.

However, I will keep this on my phone to play occasionally to unwind for a few minutes. The vibe is really nice.
