There was a lot I liked about this game. It was a little bit of a Persona-like but instead of solving a mystery in your town, you are exploring an unknown continent. You develop relationships with your teammates and get to know them more and they are all likeable and fun. And you don't explore dungeons, like you do in Persona, but the combat is still fun and engaging. But you don't walk around. The game walks for you as you cruise around and you lose HP as you continue walking. You have to manage that as you're out for (in game) days on your excursions. And the battles are fun and unique and require you to think (sorry for that rhyme).
Where the game suffers is trying to acquire money. And leveling up and gaining skills. You have to to jobs, but doing jobs is as simple as clicking a button and then it turns into a management game. And it isn't that bad! Until you realize you're doing that over and over and over again. Take this all with a grain of salt as this does seem to get better later I'm the game, but it's …

Take this all with a grain of salt as this does seem to get better later I'm the game, but it's pretty brutal initially. And while I didn't finish the game I out a solid 15 hours in and it hadn't slowed down to much at that point. Which is ultimately why I stopped playing.
I really hope, but doubt, that we see a sequel someday. There is some very strong ideas implemented here that just need to be fleshed out in a more streamlined way.
I kinda feel alone in liking this game but I made it to the end and can say I truly enjoyed it. Maybe not every hour of it but still. It's a management game disguised as a JRPG with light-hearted dialogue and a rather simple plot. Worth getting it at a discount.
