Finished World of Light. Towards the end, it was pretty damn epic.

Sometimes I play Smash while working out. I do steps while I play online. I feel like I am almost at the level where I play while sleeping.

I somehow have over 90 hours on Smash already, which is wild. And I still have more I want to do in it. 20 more characters to beat Classic Mode with, tons of Smash challenge board rewards to get, less than 100 spirits to complete the collection, and need to clean up a few things in World of Light New Game+. Needless to say, I've really enjoyed my time with this and gotten a LOT out of the single player content, which is great. I think it's safe to say that Ultimate is the best single player offering the series has had to date.
Also Smash related: I spent the last month getting a new video series ready to go, and I wanted to share it! I basically have turned Ultimate into a wrestling promotion, which is goofy fun for anyone who like pro wrestling and Smash.

Whoo! Just beat the Adventure Mode True Ending. Still have to do the two bad ending bosses to get 100%, also get enough skill orbs to complete the tree (which I can do in NG+ but bleh, I don't want to start a NG+ anytime soon, silly that I didn't get all the skills orbs even with buying so many). …

Two of my challenge pages are complete, too. Spirit Board and Adventure are nearly complete as well.
Gonna put this in the Beaten category and maybe slow down on playing to work on other stuff (including getting through the four other Switch games I got to go with my new Switch, and all the fun D&D stuff I'm trying to work on).

I love this game, but man is the UI regarding spirits so fucking obtuse...
I can find all the information about a spirit's ability to be enhanced or used in a summon, so don't make the entire process so damn obtuse! Just mark a spirit clearly if it's used in summoning in a way that I can always see, don't …

I can find all the information about a spirit's ability to be enhanced or used in a summon, so don't make the entire process so damn obtuse! Just mark a spirit clearly if it's used in summoning in a way that I can always see, don't make me go through a couple menus to find that, and then another menu to feed it snacks. Also, games in general need multiple sort options where I can choose what the sort priority is, I want you to sort my Spirits by Type, then Favourites, then Power Level!!! LET ME DO THAT!!!
Also, let me sort by special abilties, what the fuck? Why can't I see how many different support spirits I have that do 'Poison Immunity' or whatever, at a glance. Grah!
Still, the game's great, but come on, gaming has come too far for this terrible UI bullshit. For a game so polished and awesome, the UI is just horrendous.

Smash Bros Ultimate has been thoroughly distracting. I haven't even gotten back around to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle or Octopath Traveler, yet, but I'd say that's a good sign for SSBU. I do intend to at least get back to M+R shortly since I'm farther in that than Octopath.

Still, I'm definitely enjoying SSBU and now that I've taken in a decent chunk of the content and gotten more used to the controls, it's a lot more engaging than it was at first (and I was still enjoying it then).
Also, as a side note, the Switch in portable mode (with the controllers still attached that is) is not ergonomic. For a tactical game like M+R it's fine, but for an action game, it's pretty rough on my hands.

i don't want to harsh on this because the gameplay of fighting is mostly fun (even if inscrutable in its own way), but man, the menu system is super weird and it is comically disorienting. I'm finding I quite enjoy Wolf and Incineroar as characters. Chrom is also awesome as a new swordsman. Mostly I just love going all items, stage morph character and maps set to random for a hectic time. Wish I had more people to play with IRL. Not feeling like shelling 30 bucks for online.
