this game is so frustrating... however i do like the plot much more than the first game's, i think it's more fleshed out and i like how it focuses on hunting vampires more than the first game did.

Same bug as BR1: TC

This "remastered" version actually works in Windows 10 but it comes with a lovely DPI scaling bug that makes it unplayable. If you use Windows' scaling settings your mouse buttons won't work most of the time leaving you unable to perform normal attacks. The remastered version of BR1 had the same exact problem and they still haven't fixed it. And …

Boring and broken

BloodRayne 2 barely works on modern computers, it crashed 3 times in about half an hour for me. It also produces an annoying sound, except in menus and during cutscenes, so that's bugged too. The game itself is a really dated slugfest that asks you to "harpoon" people into things, which is annoying because you can't really aim. Overall, not …

It's strange to see a sequel that it's worse than the previous game in every regard. Maybe except for the pre-rendered cutscenes, this game is much uglier than the first one. Yes, the models may have more polygons, but --and I can't put my finger on why-- they look awful. The settings are also duller; at least the first part …

Yes, the models may have more polygons, but --and I can't put my finger on why-- they look awful. The settings are also duller; at least the first part (I bailed on the game after only about 2 hours) looks too sanitised and plain instead of the gritty interesting scenery from the first one. And the combat... don't get me started. Movement seems weirdly slow and there's some really strange physics int he way Rayne jumps and enemies fly around. Cutting lacks weight and the lock system doesn't work well with keyboard. Anyway. Really disappointing.

Oh, boy. Time to bail from this one. The awkward platforming did it for me. Jumping from pipe to pipe is an infuriating affair when the controls suck and your character just jumps into random directions.

I'm impressed how bad this game looks. The first one has a much better atmosphere, locations and character models. Movement is also weird, Rayner slashes her blades strangely slow but she falls super fast when jumping.

Jiggly boobs + blood = entertainment. That is all.
