I always loved Gate of Thunder SO MUCH because it was bundled with my beloved Turbo Duo, it boasted amazing music and it really resonated with me in terms of gameplay. Replaying it today, I found out that it probably resonated because it was made but the same people who made Thunderforce III, I still love the soundtrack and I think it’s maybe a bit simple but incredibly polished and fun. Also, I finally beat the final stage, which I don’t think I had done back then. Lovely.
