God of War: Ghost of Sparta stands as a spin-off nestled between the events of God of War and God of War II. Despite ascending to the title of the god of war, Kratos remains haunted by nightmarish visions. One such vision compels him to embark on a new journey when he witnesses his mother, Callisto, imprisoned in Atlantis under the dominion of the sea god Poseidon. Good story, light on gameplay.
This review is for the PlayStation 3 version

Like the other PSP God of War title, Chains of Olympus, this feels like a watered down version of mainline God of War entries. It's still fun though, if a little less challenging than usual. The story is great though, and without any spoilers, you get to see why Kratos hâtes the gods so much!
