Dust & Neon manages to make its 'gunslinging' roguelite gameplay feel unique thanks it's cover based shooting and a level of deliberateness required to succeed in its challenges.
It ultimately fails to keep those thrills up for its entire runtime, in no small part to late game progression that demands you replay levels over and over again without having enough run to run diversity to make replaying feel unique.
The few hours of fun it does have might be worth it on a sale, but I wish I could recommend it more wholeheartedly because there really is something to its core gameplay.
