Let's not forget that this is an Indie game most likely forged by a small team. Taking that into account, I'm impressed that they've managed a work around that makes the game feel bigger than it is, with an illusion of being endless. The mechanics used (triangles) were new and different; and allowed you to get into tiny hard to reach places to get extra pieces like trophies. As said in my title, rewarding you by thinking outside of the box. This increased playing time and really made me want to explore every inch of the maps. Also, the artwork and level designs were very visually pleasing and beautiful. The music was nice, too. All in all, I enjoyed this Indie game a lot - as I am not only a fan of puzzles, but a fan of beautiful art.
I played through about 14/16 levels on this one. The triangle mechanic is clever and novel, and many of the puzzles will test your spatial reasoning even moreso than Portal and its ilk. I really disliked the final mechanic, though, which is bouncing beams of light around. Most of the game felt liberating and open-ended, but because of the way the triangles' geometry works, you basically spend several minutes meticulously dragging points around until the light bounces just right. I eventually just started drawing triangles everywhere until the light was close to where I needed it, then adjusted the last couple of triangles.
I think with a bit more thought toward the end-game (and some more polished voice acting), this could've been great. Excited to see what they make next, though!
