First ever Zelda Game. I had a good time and I'm excited to play other games in the series. I don't think I could have ever completed this game without a walkthrough guide, since there are no guides or hints in-game some mechanics would be impossible to discover. Not sure if I should attribute this to the game or the fact it's my first Zelda. Also, the fact that when you die to a boss you have to go through a portion of the dungeon again made it much more difficult than it would have been otherwise.

Somehow, we managed to finish this game in half the amount of time it usually takes and in a week, too. After completing it, I'm only more confused as to how I beat this game 100% as a kid. On a regular GBA SP. Without savestates.

Somehow, we managed to finish this game in half the amount of time it usually takes and in a week, too. After completing it, I'm only more confused as to how I beat this game 100% as a kid. On a regular GBA SP. Without savestates.

This poor boy, though... My friend had the unfortunate knack for missing a single (but very important) chest in dungeons... which meant backtracking through long dungeons to figure out where the missing chest was. I'm so proud of him, even though it was a real struggle at the end there. And now Bebe's Second Zelda is finally complete. :')

Decided this was the perfect chance to play through this game again for me. And oh my goodness, were the enemies always so quick to aggro?! Were the hit boxes always this goofy!? How the heck did I finish this game as a dumb kid?!! >_<;;
