Mediocre AAA.
Like so many survival/crafting games, from Minecraft to Subnautica, ARK demands lots of your time to dedicate to the experience, with high tolerance for repetition, and your fondness for chaos and the unexpected things. With its sci-fi single player campaign, ARK at least offers us the chance to get the gist of the game without the threat of anti-social humans ruining whatever progress has been made. So I can't recommend you to access the multiplayer servers. Just don't. However fun it all seems, technical issues will impact your experiences. It's a game full of rough edges. It's also a game full of some cool moments. It's the kind of experience that has a lot of boredom and tedium, and a great deal of looking the other way in the face of bugs, but also some cooler moments.
