Interesting concept, but got boring quickly

As with many puzzle games, in my case, it excited me in the beginning, but then as the difficulty ramped up, it became a chore.

I felt like, in harder levels, puzzles required trial and error instead of logical analysis. Or maybe I didn't learn the proper way to play.

i just started this and i kind of (really) don't like how after doing the tutorial puzzle, the entire map opens up to you. i don't mind that you suddenly have like two dozen levels to choose to go to next, what annoys me is that all the story texts are hidden around the map and i've spent like half an hour going around picking them all up because, well, they're there and they're available so i felt i should get them and read them all? but that means i did 5 minutes of tutorial puzzles and then i'm getting all the story stuff for half an hour before going to another puzzle, and then since i got them all there won't be any more story texts for quite a while i guess.

like yeah it's my own choice to pace it that way, i could just get one story text, do a puzzle, one more story text, one more puzzle, etc, but it'd feel weird to not explore the map. i'd rather the game pace them out for me...

I played this for an hour or so as it's free on Epic store. While I found the "wrapper" cool and stylish, the core puzzles themselves are kind of samey and I didn't really enjoy them. If you like "ball of string through board with nails" puzzles, though, you're in for a treat.

I've been wanting to check this game out for a while, and it's conveniently free on the Epic Store right now.

This game was one of my most anticipated games of the year and so far it has delivered. The puzzles were the main draw for me, and they have been perfect. They're hard but still doable and with many different subtle iterations that make you think a bit differently each time (very similar to The Witness). The story, on the other hand, surpassed any expectation I had. I think now I'm playing more to discover what happens next than to solve puzzles.

If you like puzzles at all or just like a good story, be sure to give this a try.
