With the curse in place, the humans became monsters and ravaged the world. It is up to Adell, the last remaining human, to oppose Overlord Zenon's tyranny and restore peace and harmony to Veldime. In Disgaea 2, players will take on the role of a young fighter named Adell and travel the Netherworld to defeat the evil overlord Zenon. Battles will take place on a 3D grid-based field. During combat, players will take turns with the enemy to move and attack.

Disgaea al quadrato
ottimo disgaea, gioco che presenta maggio valore per il suo sistema di combattimento che per la trama, un passo indietro rispetto al capitolo originale. Personaggi ottimi e musiche carine. Voto: 8.5/10

Beat on loan from my coworker. I barely remember anything about the game; I think it blurs together with the 1st. My save file says Axel is level 107 and I am at chapter 2 in newgame+. The only vague thing I recall is the colored tiles and how they can be given boosts or truly nasty effects that make some random maps a huge pain. This game is a little better than the 1st with some user friendly changes. But the core of the game is still tedious. Grind item world to power up items, grind reincarnation for better stats, grind the dark assembly etc. Me, I skipped most of that and just did enough to beat the game.
My notes have no rating. I gave the 1st a 6/10 so this one is more like 6.5 to 7.2.
