This game actually broke my mouse I think
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

Spoilers but at the end of the game E is a shotgun blast once you line up 2 enemies (not stackable), if you hit the shotgun blast with 3 enemies at once you get a rail gun attack which is with q, you can both stack 1 of each, then crl is the super power if you get enough enemies which is a bit of a mess to control too, left click is call back boomerang which is not important at first but becomes important because you don't wanna accidentally teleport to your boomerang location in later levels, but sometimes you just need to zip zoom to where you swing your boomerang to so you instinctively keep pressing the click button, you need to HOLD firmly the click button to do a spin attack so your boomerang goes the distance and also do this motion to keep slowing down time with shift to catch up with the billions of enemies they throw at you however it is a very fun experience i just wish it didn't have Kirby difficulty for the first 4 levels, like the build up to it is just "ok now it is an arena shooter for …

Spoilers but at the end of the game E is a shotgun blast once you line up 2 enemies (not stackable), if you hit the shotgun blast with 3 enemies at once you get a rail gun attack which is with q, you can both stack 1 of each, then crl is the super power if you get enough enemies which is a bit of a mess to control too, left click is call back boomerang which is not important at first but becomes important because you don't wanna accidentally teleport to your boomerang location in later levels, but sometimes you just need to zip zoom to where you swing your boomerang to so you instinctively keep pressing the click button, you need to HOLD firmly the click button to do a spin attack so your boomerang goes the distance and also do this motion to keep slowing down time with shift to catch up with the billions of enemies they throw at you however it is a very fun experience i just wish it didn't have Kirby difficulty for the first 4 levels, like the build up to it is just "ok now it is an arena shooter for real this time" oh and i forgot, if you get more than 3 attacks mid air you get a slam attack that is helpful because it has invisibility frames.

Either way the dificulty leap is so large that the first experiences of the game is just a glorified tutorial to what becomes: Stress: the game, oh and this doesn't even include the WEIRD enemies they introduce that cluster the arena with area of effect so i had to teach myself to zip zoom responsibly so i don't get hit by like a huge hurricane that covers 90% of the screen, I hate the giraffes and butterfly shielded moths so much, i cant imagine anyone having fun with this game on consoles when 90% of the game becomes: ok you have 1 second to aim at the back of this enemy's weakpoint, but one of the few options the game comes with (it doesn't allow you to change many buttons unless you are using a controller) is auto aim, which defeats a lot of the purpose of the game and is actually harder to control than aiming somehow, or maybe you got so used to aiming that only until you wished to try that out, it is not intuitive.

The eastern inspired style and eastern inspired beats you hear throughout the game that are tied to the slow-mo function you get later, are pretty good too. Anyways I held down the mouse button so much that I think I might of broken it to an extent, therefore this game isn't really all that good for me honestly, it keeps your mind occupied yes, especially across the last levels, but it's difficulty spike is mostly based on the idea of how you can use slow-mo to your advantages and if you don't accidentally sling yourself into danger's way, no really the area of effect damage stuff in later levels is just not gonna give you a good time, you will just accidentally fling yourself to damage because you are so used to zip zooming all the place. Accidents will happen.

Fun, Adrenaline filled action. The initial playthrough is a bit bare-bones, as certain enemies only appear for a single environment, and the game is quickly over once you gain all the power-ups. New game plus seems to be intended to be the "full" version of the experience. While the slingshot mechanic is fun, it becomes a bit tedious at times, specially when you are trying to traverse the lower areas of the level and you end up falling and taking damage. Obviously this is part of the challenge, but its the least fun part of the challenge.
