Finished the Sovied campaing. The next to last mission is waaay to hard, I was basically forced to exploit the AI by continuously bombing at the path the enemy would take. Not good design, if you ask me. For what I've seen in youtube, the mission was actually easier in the original non-patched version of the game.

Nothing dates a piece of media like an alternative past with high tech (weather control, laser weapons, giant tesla coils) but with videos in giant tapes

It's been more than 15 years since I played (and loved) Red Alert 2 but at that time I was a wee lad who hadn't the constancy of finishing games. So after all that time, I finally finished it (the allied campaign, at least).
Also, bring back FMV in games!
