Most of what I liked about the first part of the game is absent in the second part- suddenly there is an endless string of fetch quests within fetch quests, dungeons that blend into each other and feel like the same, and completely bland and uninteresting characters.

Most of what I liked about the first part of the game is absent in the second part- suddenly there is an endless string of fetch quests within fetch quests, dungeons that blend into each other and feel like the same, and completely bland and uninteresting characters.
In the first part, Death constantly lampshades the quests thrown at him and mocks characters for asking favors of him, which was very refreshing - but now he accepts tasks without comment from people he has no reason to trust or help.
