Just can't get into this type of game, to much platforming and silly camera controls/angles for me. gave it a try for about a hour or so. hence I cannot give this a star rating, does not mean the game is bad/good its just not for me.

Despite my previous update, the City of the Dead was the best dungeon yet. Great boss too. Wish the game was more of this.

Most of what I liked about the first part of the game is absent in the second part- suddenly there is an endless string of fetch quests within fetch quests, dungeons that blend into each other and feel like the same, and completely bland and uninteresting characters. In the first part, Death constantly lampshades the quests thrown at him and mocks characters for asking favors of him, which was very refreshing - but now he accepts tasks without comment from people he has no reason to trust or help.

I played for some hours today. I like this more than the precedent one. At least it is more colourful and it has more characters to speak with (side quests). Enjoying it so far!

This game feels like a popcorn flick. Playing it on easy and enjoying the total simple battle mechanics and the over dramatic plot. Feels like a God of War clone but not quite the same level of polish, which isn’t a bad thing, especially when I got it free on PS Plus a while back.

The best things about this game and it's predecessor is its exaggerated style and fast paced combat. However, it feels a bit rough. The d-pad on the controller doesn't work, menus have an ugly font and there's something weird with how the camera moves around... like it shakes a little.

I got Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition as a PS Plus free game. I've been playing it for a couple days and I can say it is one of the most underrated games of the 7th generation.
