Just past the first dungeon area. I remembered this game very vaguely from when I was a kid. My older cousin let me play it a little, and I remember my little kid mind being blown. I have to say, so far, this really holds up and lives up to my nostalgia hype. Think God of War hack n slash mixed with Zelda dungeons. Then add more rpg elements like weapons leveling up, unlocking new combat moves and abilities. They packed this game full of so many systems that it feels like it shouldn't work, but it really does. Definitely excited to play more.

Despite starting this back when it first release I never actually finished it, so I'm making my way through it now through the re-release and, honestly, it's just reminding me how much better the 360 era was. I really lived through a great time for gaming, only to watch it all basically turn to shit (aside from the occasional surprise and of course good indie stuff).

Hey! I've been playing Darksiders for the last couple of days. I really hated the game when it launched, never got through it after the spider boss... Slow and repetitive. I could't finish it, I was utterly bored by the end of the first hour (breaking the giant curse fighting in those Arenas to kill the shadow lurkers). People compare it with God of War (I only played the newest one) or Prototype but those tow, while a little bit repetitive in their mechanics where much more varied (which means that make you use more than two buttons for all fights) and so they did not bored me at all. And, as hack and slash games they were a lot faster too.

There seems to be a problem with the cutscenes of the PC warmastered version. The music and sfx are way too quiet in comparison with the voices. It's not game breaking, but it is annoying

Here's the guide to fix it. Basically you need to swap the videos for their re-coded versions (10GB file provided in the article). …

Also it works for every language, so there's that

This game does not have so many positive reviews but I like it! I think the problem is that everybody usually tends to compare it with something else. I will try not to do it.

This game has a good momentum in some points. The enemies are very limited and I've already found a moveset to kill them all with ease, but there's something that keeps me going and enjoying the gameplay. They stop the pacing to a screeching halt and are extremely boring and unnecessary.
