The balancing may be garbage, the game too slow and some mechanics just straight up godforsaken (yes, it's tripping...).
But what this game has.. is soul.
in nomine populi; accipio quod Brawl malum ludum fighting est. sed, in virtute deorum, nullus ludus prope accedit cum aestheticum magisterium huius.
To this day Brawl remains one of the most badass fucking games …

Never really got into brawl that much I never really got the hang of the controls. Subspace emmisary though was so freaking cool and I loved every minute of it. Despite mediocre online play, I played the heck out of this sequel to Melee. Having Sonic and Snake in this game was pretty amazing for the time.
