Touch and go
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

First of all: you reeeally need to shut off your brain to be able to enjoy this game. Ok. Now, are you a fan of Sugita? I hope you are, because you will be hearing him a lot here if you don't skip the dialogues.

Moero Chronicle is a dumb and simple dungeon crawler, even when compared to other similar titles like Demon Gaze or Mary Skelter, all of them available on their best home: the PS Vita. Other than the touch-and-rub mechanic to get the girls to join your party, there is little more to it than the downright bare essentials like going to the shop and buying better equipment.

Yeah, there are a few aspects like the egg system, growing your relationship with the girls and capturing the monsters, but I never felt the need to dabble in any of this. I just basically did a speedrun of the game using the easier difficulty, beating every boss in the first attempt.

I had an overall good time with Moero Chronicle, and even had a few laughs here and there. At the same time, it's de-fi-ni-te-ly a niche title (even among Vita crawlers) but if you are at least a little inclined to give this mess of a game a chance, you might come out satisfied.

Woo hoo! Got my first shipment from Play Asia. One of the few non-US released games that has English subtitles. Hooray for no region lock on the Vita!
