All done with Mario Galaxy. Pretty good game, but my main takeaway is that we need this serial killer orca to show up a lot more often

Jugabilidad excelente. Mucha variedad. Graficos muy buenos. Historia interesante de rosalina. Excelente duracion y rejugabilidad.
Si tuviera que destacar algo malo serian los controles bajo el agua, la imposibilidad de manejar la camara a tu gusto (lo cual a veces genera problemas), y los niveles de recoger monedas moradas que no son por tiempo y se hacen tediosos e innecesarios. …

Aun asi sus problemas son nimios ante las grandes virtudes del juego. Fácilmente uno de mis favoritos de todos los tiempos. Grande mario!!.

If you're playing handheld, sure, that sounds awful with touch controls, but the gyro controls when docked or even on tabletop mode are great. I was able to prob my Switch up on a book on my bed and detach the Joy-Cons, and it was the most comfortable I've ever been while playing a Wii game. Makes me hope Nintendo ports more Wii games/upscales to the Switch with gyro support.

Man. I've been listening to the Galaxy soundtrack and playing Mario figures with my son and I'm just realizing how much Nintendo needs to HD remake these masterpieces on Switch. I know that's not a new idea, but holy crapy they just have to. I want to play them with him in a pretty new way so badly.

Since I'm trying to follow the Left Behind Game Club podcast, the next game I will try to play will be Super Mario Galaxy. I'm curious how this game will be since I'm not a big Mario fan. I've never completed a Mario Game and the last game I actually played for a bit was Mario 64. I'm pretty hyped for this game though since I do want to buy a switch and and Mario Oddysey with it.
I'll be playing this game on a Dolphin Emulator, so with an Xbox 360 controller. Let's see how it will work...

Stopped playing after obtaining 30 stars.
I'm not a fan of Mario games. Some gimmicks are fun but the camera is terrible.

Although Super Mario World may still be my favourite Mario game of all time, Mario Galaxy definitely has my new favourite Mario game setting. It also introduces Rosalina, who is without a doubt the best ever character addition to the Mario universe. Finally it has some of the most hauntingly beautiful musical compositions of any Mario. This is truly a masterpiece.

So far this game is fantastic. I love the individual planetoid missions and the fact that each planet/planetoid cluster is unique. The game play is pretty fantastic. Despite that, my one annoyance is the central mechanic of the Wii: motion control. I am really not on board. Super Mario Galaxy is a great enough game that I can overlook the controls and enjoy myself, but aside from motion being somewhat novel I don't find it adds depth to the game. It often feels gimmicky and imprecise. Perhaps it adds a level of difficulty as a result, but the lack of precision is annoying rather than challenging. There are other Wii games I will play, as many look phenomenal, but I am glad that, for the most part, the Wii U went in a different direction.
As an aside I can also say that if VR ends up mostly utilizing motion controls I think I might return to a bit of my original healthy skepticism regarding its long term success.
