Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter is a 2D platform video game developed by 5th Cell and published by THQ for the Nintendo DS, released in October 2009 in all regions except Japan. It is a sequel to the original Drawn to Life and a counterpart to the Wii version, although it has a different plot. One of the game's major features is the player's ability to draw elements of the game, and the game has a heavy emphasis on doing so.

The "Silent Hill 2" of children's DS games

If you told someone that this game about saving cartoon rabbit people from the evil darkness culminated in the reveal that everything was happening in the repressed memories of a comatose child dealing with the fact that both of his parents died in a car crash, they probably would not believe you. You probably wouldn't believe yourself either.

traumatizing
This review is for the Nintendo DS version

Still not over the end credits. I was traumatized at 6 years old when I found out that one of my favorite games was actually about some kid in a coma whose parents died in a car accident, and that nothing was real.

Loved it though.
