Can I nominate a game I played in 2024 as the best game of 2025 on the technicality that it released on consoles this year? Probably, right? Sure.

Finished the game! I went with Robyn's ending first, but I will go back a few saves to try 2 different ones. I enjoyed Sorry We're Closed, even if the final sequence stretched out a little too long.

Overall, fun game that's oozing with style and pretty good writing. The combat is rather straightforward, but the "third-eye" mechanic adds a little twist to it, so that's nice.

I'm trying to decide if it's a 3/5 or a 4/5 game. I liked it slightly more than Crow Country, which I rated 3. I probably need to let myself forget how stretched out the ending sequence felt before rating it 😅

Excited to sink my teeth into some indies as soon as I’m done Dragon Age: The Veilguard. I’ve got a few lined up from now until the holidays season, possibly starting with Sorry We’re Closed.

I wonder if the dev updated this demo. The game launches in November, and I'm pretty excited for it. This was my favourite demo from this past summer, and I think it has a lot of potential.

Silent Hill meets Paradise Killer in Sorry We're Closed. I think this may be tied as my favourite demo from the Summer Next Fest. It's hitting me in all he ways I love, mixing Queer storytelling with horror to create something really compelling. Fantastic art design, great atmosphere and writing with homage to Silent Hill that isn't just lip service. Looking forward to the final release.
