Tekken 6 seems to take the series into a different direction than the previous titles and I feel the direction is uncertainty.

Yes, after nearly 15 years of being on the market, it's probably best to change some elements to an aging franchise to stay fresh among competitors, but I feel this installment is trying to be something that it's not.

The Mishima storyline has expanded a lot over the years and manages to stay consistent and true to the original. This release adds more of the same, but with little to say, becoming seemingly unimportant. Also the ending boss is ridiculously hard.

With that said, I was also disappointed that most characters are playable from the beginning, making arcade play pointless to play, for me anyway. It was always fun to play arcade mode over and over just so you can unlock the characters!

Graphics and fighting venues are well built and pretty to look at, probably one of the best features.

Tekken 6 isn't bad, it's not great either.
