The best thing about "Wario Blast Featuring Bomberman" is the very premise of it. Just, one day, Wario decided to hijack someone else's video game and claim it as his own. I think that's kind of hilarious, and wish that could've been done with a bunch of other game franchises. There's something funny about playing an old Bomberman game, but it's Wario there instead, like some kind of goofy rom hack.

That said, the game is only what I'd call functional. Game Boy can only handle so much, and so what you get here is a basic iteration of the Bomberman formula with basic computer AI, so all the levels are very simple and repetitive. The game works, but there are many better Bomberman releases out there.
