Lego Universe was a massively multiplayer online game that was available between October 2010 and January 2012. The game was developed by NetDevil and released on October 26, 2010, with an early opening (October 8, 2010) for the to-be Lego "Founders", which consisted of users who pre-ordered the game. It was globally distributed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Its release was delayed from original estimates of 2009, Teasers were released by Lego in 2007 and late November 2008 to promote the game, and also in 2009 for one last promotion. The game was available in English and German. The servers were shut down permanently on January 30, 2012 due to 'unsatisfactory revenue' from within the game's target audience. Read less

An absolute gem of a game. Words alone can not describe the joy and cheer this game brought and continues to bring over the years. An absolute gem of a game. Words alone can not describe the joy and cheer this game brought and continues to bring over the years. The only negative about this game is how early it shutdown, and how it was unable to reach its true potential. Every world you visit is great and has its unique theme. The revival by Darkflame is truly beautiful and it's wonderful that the game can now be played all these years later. One can only be left to wonder what could have been had it lived longer, but glad to be able to enjoy for what it was. 11/10 game and one of my favorites of all time.
