NYM 1-5: solid little HOPA series

As the title mentions, this is more a review of all 5 New York Mysteries games, as my thoughts apply equally to all of them. They are hidden object point and click games, with a very distinct style that Five-BN Studio is known for.
All the games are pretty well made, with solid puzzles and artwork. They have a formula down with their games, but they are still a higher quality than most games in the genre. One of my favorite unique elements to these games is the hidden object games themselves, as they are more like a sequence of event game (find one item, use it in the scene to get the next, etc). It’s much more dynamic than the usual object list style and I think a much better approach.
Everything else is somewhat bland but always very polished. You’re pretty much guaranteed to at least mildly enjoy any of their games (assuming you like the genre).
