Decent first entry (but tough)
Paper Bride is the first game in a (so far) 6 entry series of Chinese horror mystery point and click games. It’s got a nice, low budget but dark art style and is absolutely condensed with puzzles.
Unlike my complaint with Asylum, this has the perfect story to puzzle ratio. The only issue is… the puzzles are sometime extremely tough. …

Unlike my complaint with Asylum, this has the perfect story to puzzle ratio. The only issue is… the puzzles are sometime extremely tough. It could partially be a translation issue, and especially because many of them use Chinese characters and mythology, but I just liberally had to press the hint button.
But otherwise, I definitely enjoyed it. The puzzles that I could grasp were very fun, and there’s some mini games as well. I just hope the series becomes more refined, as well as user and international-friendly as the entries released… to be seen!
