The narrative centers on the aftermath of the President of the New United States of America's orbital shuttle being shot down over Dogtown, one of Night City’s most dangerous districts. Players control V, a mercenary tasked with navigating a complex web of espionage and political intrigue. The expansion introduces Dogtown, a heavily militarized, autonomous zone ruled by a strict and authoritarian leader. With support from NUSA sleeper agent Solomon Reed (voiced by Idris Elba) and returning character Johnny Silverhand (voiced by Keanu Reeves), players engage in a story involving shifting alliances and covert operations. This new RTX 5070ti is off the hook, and thankfully I was able to get it for under a grand from Best Buy. But the state of video card prices and availability are still in the gutter, with scalpers and scammers, and seemingly no end to the madness.

The tech bizz is in such a turmoil and the only thing you and I can do is not give in to scalpers, and let the local people sit with their items, which forces them to return them to Best Buy and Amazon.

On that note, I was finally able to get a RTX 5070ti for a decent price from Best Buy and I love the card. I just upgraded from a EVGA 3090ti (RIP my beloved EVGA), and Cyberpunk looks absolutely fantastic, and it performs just as much.

The new DLSS 4 and Frame Gen took some time for me to get the performance and visuals right, but man, this game looks incredible compared to when I played it day ONE on Xbox One X.

It is way better than original game but still feels clunky on Xbox X. Frame drops are visible, no occlusion shadows under cars, I mean c'mon GTA5 had these shadows on PS3 for crying out loud.
Plotwise, it's good, but not as good as people say. Funnily enough, the most pragmatic, cynical resolution which seem to be in line with …

It's unfortunate timing for this expansion as I have not been very in the mood to deep dive into this sort of thing lately, but what I have played when I feel up for it is quite entertaining so far both in story and gameplay. The game itself has some noticeable changes, but largely does feel like the same game I was already happy with back in 2020. Feels odd reloading a save after that long and getting right back to it, but I'm glad I kept my original character that I reloaded and cleared most of the endings with instead of starting all over.
