A big improvement over the first
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

Été is a welcome improvement over the first game mostly because Erika, our protagonist, feels like an actual person vs. Shirohane from the first game having the personality of a (determined) wet noodle. Erika is kind of mean, and her amitié partner is her own kind of mean, which makes for a more interesting read. Overall the chemistry is good. The mysteries make this more engaging than your average visual novel and you can often figure them out on your own if you apply yourself, which is neat.

The moment to moment writing, mysteries, music, and art continue to be the reason to check this series out, though the vibe continues to feel weird, especially in some of the raunchy scenes. These scenes often feel out of place and I found them distracting. As with much of yuri, this game occasionally suffers from crafting too perfect of a world that feels completely alienated from the real life experiences of WLW which in turn makes some scenes weird.

Anywho, if you want something like this, I'd recommend quite a bit of manga before reaching for this game, but it's still a pretty good experience.
