Finished the with the quests added in the last free update. That was a better climax for the story than the actual "ending".

This game infuriates me to no end. Beautiful world, great historical settings, pretty good parkour this time around, and yet Ubisoft did nothing with it. This game infuriates me to no end. Beautiful world, great historical settings, pretty good parkour this time around, and yet Ubisoft did nothing with it. They still stuck with the same old disjointed story missions, uninteresting characters, facial animation that looks worse than 10 years ago and the open world activities are still the same old repetitive slop. After 20 hours into this game trying to complete everything on the map, I gave up and just made a beeline to the ending. The worst part is that I found the last few hours to be actually quite interesting as it revealed the backstory for both characters and the ongoing conflict of Templar vs Assassins in Japan, but the actual process of getting there is dreadful. The ending is quite a slap in the face too, but I don't really care because at that point I just wanted the game to end more than anything.
I finished the game in 35 hours, which is half the time I spent on Death Stranding 2 last month. In that game, I also did repetitive tasks, compulsively trying to finish every delivery, but not once I found myself thinking "this is boring, I should just focus on story missions". It's very weird now that I think about it.

Although I finished playing this a week ago, I just have to say yes, yes he does:

Ubi released an update within the last week to add things like bulk item management and auto horse navigation but they introduced some pretty bad stutter to the game related to shader caching. They put out a hot fix two days ago to fix the stutter and so far it’s basically broken the game.

A shame because this game was bug free at launch.

I already finished this game and even got the Platinum Trophy, but I can't stop playing. It become a comfort game for me. Infiltrating castles to stealth kill daisho samurai, beating every enemy to pulp with an overpowered Yasuke, uncovering the map and doing the minigames is just... fun.

Not sure when I'm gonna stop. When I run out of activities on the map? Its not like I don't have anything else to play.

Well, I love any game that has katanas.
So I liked ASC Shadows too.
I'm a simple gamer. Don't judge me.

I'll be honest I'm having so much fun with this game. The stealth gameplay is some of the best I've experienced in years
