I'm not sure about this one yet, I'll have to play a bit more (currently 1 hour of playtime). So far, there seems to be quite a bit of fun to be had but there's a lot of questionable choices in the game design too. The worst one so far is the way you earn money. Anything other than a total success, which entails rescuing everyone and reaching the exit, rewards you with the same amount of money. As an example, two scenarios:
- You fight through the level, rescue one human and two kittens, manage to reach the exit door but then die right in front of it.
- You enter the level and die fighting the very first fire monsters.
In both of these scenarios you get the exact same amount of money. Only reaching the exit will give you more. So technically, I could farm money by entering a level and killing myself instantly instead of wasting my time and dying before the exit...
But hey, bonus points for being able to pet the dog <3
