Game based on the second movie, developed by the makers of Vigilante 8. Shrek is on a journey to meet his in-laws, so Shrek 2 follows his adventure to Far Away Land and the chaos that ensues once Fiona's parents learn that their precious daughter is an ogre -- and is married to the crudest of them all. Shrek 2 features a mixture of puzzle solving and enemy bashing. Players are able to control one of four characters at any given time -- swapping between them at will. Each character has a set of basic attack moves and a special ability. Donkey has a "Burro Blast" that can knock down large objects, Shrek can pick up and throw heavy objects, and Fiona -- in a nod to her fight scene in the first movie -- can slow down time, Matrix-style. Yeah it's OK

Played the PS2 Version.

it was an OK experience in coop, nothing to great I would say. By far the worst is the camera. It does what it wants.

it was an OK experience in coop, nothing to great I would say. By far the worst is the camera. It does what it wants.

You play across 11 stages (platform/adventure) and some bosses along the way. Each stage has some objectives to do, some are donde just by playing but some all collectibles. I just didn't care enough to grab all the objectives in each stage.

You play each stage with 4 characters and you can switch between them using the L1 and R1 buttons. You have to switch because each charcater has a unique attack with the Triangle button and those attacks are necessary to progress in the game. For example Shrek can grab heavy things, donkey das a heavy kick, Fiona can slow time, etc.

The other mechanic is the "Hero time". In each stage you trigger a "Hero Time" event in wich you can only control certain character and you have to beat a specific section with him/her.

Play this with a friend and try to no get upset with the stupid camera.

Great

This game means a lot to me, personally lol. I've played it like ten times on XBOX and I'll play it again in the future. It's not all that great, but I was always happy to play it anyways.
