Ok, so I'm not a huge fan of these types of games, but I did enjoy my time with this one. The art style was pleasant and did a good job at setting the scene, the story wasn't the most complex, but there was a nice enough twist that was built up if you spent the time to read all the notes in the world, and the threat was actually pretty fun to try to avoid.
This is a pretty simple game and as such, this is a pretty simple review. I'd recommend it if these types of games are your jam.
I am a vocal opponent of weaponless hide-in-closet jumpscare "horror" games. But the unique visuals, 2d aesthetic, and point and click sensibilities with puzzles bring up the experience to something I really enjoyed. If someone who hates this genre got some good enjoyment out of it then for fans of this genre you will likely love this.
Keep an eye out for the end game, when the map becomes torn watch out when you return to the cafeteria as this is a point of no return that can keep you from getting the true ending.
Be sure to keep a save before the map goes wonky if you want to go back and search for pieces of the true ending.
