I really like the game, but Crystal Dynamics REALLY needs to implement an easier way to play with strangers, like selecting a session from a menu or something.

I really like the game, but Crystal Dynamics REALLY needs to implement an easier way to play with strangers, like selecting a session from a menu or something.
Right now, its impossible to play multiplayer if it's not with friends. I even think that the "quick game" option dissapeared on the latest patch. If I create a lobby, I can wait for hours and not getting anyone joining.
Fortunately, playing with bots its mostly fine.

I may bump the rating up as I get into endgame stuff, but... Yeah. Probably a 3.5 from me on the main campaign. Some really good moments! Also a fair amount of weird stuff that comes from stuffing a single player campaign into a games-as-service game. (Also also a lot of technical hiccups!)

I look forward to checking out endgame stuff and popping in now and then for new heroes/updates/etc.
Edit: For the record I actually dig games-as-service games a lot, it just felt weird leveling up vendors and having tons of little resources building that you really don't need to touch until some point later (didn't level anything during the campaign, just assigned skill points and equipped my highest level gear regularly).

I'm kinda enjoying this game and the 'games-as-a-service' bullshit is not bothering me at all. I'm surprised.

Yes. It's Destiny with superheroes. You farm for random loot and numbers go up. You know if that is your thing (it's certainly my thing).
I love Kamala and the way she fangirls about meeting her heroes. Adorable.
