I had seen the story of What Remains of Edith Finch on YouTube before playing it myself, and there's something about it that still sticks with me years later. The scene with the son in the factory is something I may never come to forget.
However, when I decided to give playing it myself a go, I was troubled by the optimization. For starters, on the Xbox One, there is absolutely no option to control the vibration of the controller during certain scenes. That would be fine...if the vibration wasn't like a jackhammer. Seriously, I had to put the controller down at some point because my hands were going numb, and the sound of it could be heard in another room. Other than some problems on that end, it's a beautiful game that deserves a playthrough. Just try to get it on PC.
