You might be frustrated at points during this game, but don't cheat! It will be worth it when you finally have that ah ha moment. What an unusual puzzle game. I appreciate that each level brought something fresh while still having fairly simple game mechanics. Sometimes short indie puzzlers feel like by the time you figured the mechanics out the game is over. Gorogoa gives just enough help that you can figure things out if you keep trying or take a break when you're stuck. I whiled away a few hours w this weekend in this gorgeous game and felt like I was stepping between medieval manuscripts, and Escher-like imagination/dream, and someone's diary.

Beautiful and moving without a single spoken (or written) word

Gorogoa is one of those rare games that makes you go "Huh, how did they pull that off?". It's not that it's as mind-bending as games like Viewfinder or Superliminal, which kind of makes you question reality, but more so that it's amazing the level of 2D puzzle craftmanship - as well as stunning art - that's on display here. …

It's not that it's as mind-bending as games like Viewfinder or Superliminal, which kind of makes you question reality, but more so that it's amazing the level of 2D puzzle craftmanship - as well as stunning art - that's on display here. My girlfriend and I played it together in (almost) one sitting, with her having the controller the whole way through, but that didn't lessen the experience at all for me. What a gem. 100% recommend this game to gamers and non-gamers alike.

7/10 Très court (2 heures max) mais très sympa, ça revisite vraiment le genre du puzzle 2D. En plus c’est très beau. Bon j’ai rien compris à l’histoire mais ça on s’en fout.

A masterpiece. I don't know why it took so long for me to finally play the game.

A unique, though short, experience.

While Gorogoa is an amazing experience, it’s a very brief one with little to no replay unless you’re chasing the few achievements you missed the first time through, or you may really want to experience it again afterwards with a better grasp of its mechanics. As a puzzle game, it’s unique, interesting and absolutely gorgeous. It’s obvious that Gorogoa was …

It’s obvious that Gorogoa was a labor of love, and it shows. Mechanically it’s ingenious and what it lacks in length, it makes up in quality. Quality over quantity is the perfect slogan for this unique puzzler that I’ll remember for quite sometime.

A fun little puzzle game. I really liked the game mechanics. At times I struggled with the puzzles, but except for the end of the 5th fruit I didn't have to look anything up.

Short and so so sweet

This is stellar on ever level - amazing animation, concept, puzzles, and totally unique. Truly think everyone should try it, it’s very memorable and worth the play.

I’m mad no one told me about this game

I’m sure whoever made Gorogoa is some sort of mad insufferable genius like Alan Moore but like Alan Moore I am just so happy they exist. Gorogoa is an incredibly unique puzzle game with an abstract story and a gorgeous art style, and it’s unique puzzle mechanics are so cool. Play this game if you like puzzles.

A beautiful short experience, that made me feel slightly dumb until I felt brilliant.

I wouldn't consider this a game strictly speaking, but it was a great little puzzle experience.

I felt utterly dumb at points in playing, until I figured out what the game was expected of me and I felt superiorly brilliant. The puzzles weren't too difficult overall, but sometimes it was just a matter of clicking around until things made sense. …

I think it would make an excellent mobile experience and am glad that I didn't play for this stand-alone, since it came with GamePass.

Overall, I'd play it if you're looking for a nice experience, but don't expect anything too involved.

This puzzle game is unique in its clever design, telling a visual story about a person who has to gather 5 fruits for a ritual in connection with a mythical creature.

The puzzle layout allows you to move, alter and change perspective of the scene's pictures. The puzzles themselves can appear subtle but are intuitive enough to let you figure out solutions. I only felt nearly stumped 2-3 times but made it through, getting "A-ha" moments that would satisfy majorly puzzle and casual fans alike.

The graphics are gorgeous, being hand-drawn single-handedly by Jason Roberts, which is a praise-worthy achievement. I finished the game in 2 hours with optional contents included. Although it seems short, the content's quality justifies its retail price. Warmly recommended!

Quick Puzzle Game with a Cool Concept

Very interesting puzzle game, with a unique concept that is well explored (rearranging tiles so their elements interact with each other, through time and space.. it's better seen in action.) Story is interesting and quite beautiful, though it seems to be very vague/metaphorical I've been giving it quite some thought after finishing. Quick game, challenging in the cool way. The …
