The Last Looney Tunes game was a good one

Until PS2/GameCube era, Looney Tunes characters appeared in a lot of charming platformer games, both in 2D and 3D. Taz would be the last main character of that age, but the game itself was a good last step.

The plot is simple: Yosemite Sam kidnaps She-Devil, Taz's girlfriend, and turns their peaceful island in a theme park: Tazland. However, Taz manages to escape and have to save She-Devil, his home and destroy the Wanted posters Sam has spread out. So basically you have to visit 10 levels in order to destroy all Wanted posters. Simple as platformers game use to be.

Taz controls may be a little chaotic, but level designs have variety, charm and a high fun factor. The Wanted posters you have to destroy are different from each other. So this platformer game is simply fun. Next, you have colorful worlds, with a lot, and I mean A LOT of little amusing details with the Looney Tunes brand. Lastly, the soundtrack is lively, charming, rich and varied, so externally the game is pretty enjoyable.

So maybe is not perfect but it is a good 3D platformer, without a doubt. Looney Tunes fans definitely should have to play this …

I have had a growing desire to play this game again now that I am older and see how the puzzles held up (or didn't). My desire to re-visit the decent quality branded games that I was stuck on and traded in as a kid is quite strong right now. Others include sheep raider and Scooby-Doo: Night of 100 Frights.
