I stand by it, I still think Plants Vs Zombies is one of the greatest games ever made, joining the ranks of PacMan and Tetris as games that anyone can pick up and immediately understand, the appeal of them immediately recognizable and endlessly worth returning to. The tower defence has held a special place in my heart for a while now and the Kingdom series seems to be shoving itself in.

Is it a masterpiece? Fuck no. Is it deeply, unapologetically repetitive? Yap. Do the Raw Fury team attempt to tell a story, but end up with one as compelling as burnt toast? Yap. Do they innovate the formula beyond the previous game? Barely.

Did I have a hell of a time turning my camp into an efficient fighting machine that could hold its own even if I was gone? FUCK YEAH
