I really enjoyed Harmony: The Fall of Reverie last year, but Dontnod ownership continues to make it really hard to support their games. I hope better for their clearly talented devs.

Thoroughly enjoying this. It deserves more attention than it’s received this year, but that probably speaks to the volume of great games released in 2023, let alone the fact DONTNOD released another game that’s been popular with gamers and critics, Jusant. It’s also not surprising that the DONTNOD game getting attention is the one on Game Pass, which unequivocally expands its reach. But if I put only one DONTNOD game on my end of year list, I suspect it will be Harmony: The Fall of Reverie, and not Jusant.

I’ll fully admit that linking characters from one game to another by a voice actor is potentially not the best way to engage with a game, but after Shadowheart from BG3 showed up Dorian from DA:I sauntered in! Forgive me, but I’m just going to need a moment!

It’s usually a bad sign if I start a new game while playing another 😔
