Not my KOF (but a great fighting game anyway)
This review is for the PlayStation 4 version
My first review for a new site! This is Tribu Gamer, another colombian video game website.
I've been away from KOF for a long time and was called back to review the 'Ultimate Edition' of this game. I really like what a found here at a systems-level. The 'rush' mechanic is great for newcomers and there's still a high skill ceiling for experts. That's why I gave it a high note... but this game is not really for me. The reason? I miss the pixel art! It just don't feel like KOF to me anymore.
That's funny, because I had no issue with the transition from 2D to 3D when Street Fighter did the same
Did you know I also love fighting games? It's a shame that I suck at them because I really like them.
Anyway, KoF is my favorite series mostly because me and my friends grew playing it on the arcades. For a game so popular here, its a shame it doesn't have a lot of colombian representation among its characters... with the exception of Zarina, a fighter that most people associate with Brazil, not Colombia.

I really need to get KOF XV. It doesn't have colombian characters, but it has an amazing chilean one and a ton of mexicans. ¡Latinoamérica presente!
