i came across this somehow on steam and figured since its free i may aswell have a go, and weirdly enough somethings worked others didnt. the map itself is cool but it felt a little too big. everything that made the map was intresting though. i get this was probably a small project but im deciding to review for two reasons. 1 is to pass the Knowledge the second is because i found a few things that were odd. I cant tell if this one is a secret, but while gliding down the stairs on the platform to the far left you can randomly be thrown into the air. no clue why but yeah. i saw this and i know its from a comic book, marvel or dc im not sure but it reminds be of a MF doom music video. i could be wrong about this. and the last sort of thing i noticed was a guy on the train tracks using the same dancing animations from a roblox game called brookhaven. litereally movement from movement. this is more then likley just a used unity animation. guessing unity because that was what the game was made with. My last thoughts i want to put down is one section of the game was really f*cking cool. you accend up these stairs and the higher you get the more odd these paintings become, and damn man it was crazy. someone were paintings that i would have on my wall if it didnt make me look like a murderer. Thats about all i can comment about on this short little game.
Read LessFun music and a cool surreal vibe. I'm not sure there's a whole lot to take away from the ~40 minutes I spent with Off-Peak, but I enjoyed it as a sort of experimental mood piece and the price (free) was right.
A beautifully curated collection of one man's hobbies that you can walk through: Craft beer (quite the Gueuze fan), boardgames (Catan, Carcassonne etc.) and collectible card games (Netrunner), Jazz vinyl, Polish movie posters, Sheet music, hash cookies and the circus. It's quick, visually impressive and has a nice jazz electronica soundtrack. Afterwards, make sure to grab the free music mix from all the vinyl featured in the game from the band's website.
