Man, Lego Island was my jam.

Despite being dated and not holding too much to nowadays free roam adventures, it was such a simple child's game that still holds a dear place in my heart - enough to still own the physical copy of it and still running a replay just to get a feel on how old Lego games used to be.

The simplicity of its presentation and how easy it is to roam around the island, interact with the characters and generically just own any vehicle available on the island by just either going through the story as Pepper or simply barging into any of the places to build your own was astounding - not to mention that it holds a level of customization that was difficult to find at the time.

All in all, I game i like to revisit every now and then.
