Great concept, failed execution
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version
I wanted to love this game so much! The world is cool, the gameplay is engaging, the characters are interesting, and the ambiance is great…but it’s just so damn buggy, it’s nearly unplayable.
The controls might be forgivable if they were the worst thing about the game, but I actually managed to leave the playable area and get stuck several times in my 7 hrs of playtime. Given that there’s no way to warp and no autosave, that meant a lot of time wasted, quitting and restarting, for issues I had no control over. I might try again someday if they manage to fix the bugs, but until then I need to put it down. How disappointing.
