Why is Akiyama's lock to a safe of 100 million yen just a button with no security whatsoever? Is he stupid?

I am not ashamed to admit I skipped Yakuza 3. I am having a great time with this one, though.

Playing this one right after Yakuza Kiwami kind of felt like a mistake. The entire game takes place in Kamurocho again and I already felt like I saw all that Kamurocho had to offer in the first game. The multiple perspectives and the reused story elements was a bit jarring. Still a good time though.

Probably my least favorite Yakuza game yet. Looking forward to 5, and then escaping the PS3 era games for good if I don't want to bother with Dead Souls.

The second game to make it's way onto my "binned" shelf. At least I managed to play more than 15 minutes of this title! But finally after give or take 15 hours, I've come to realise this is too taxing for me to continue. As much as I might have been enjoying it.

Well thought out story line. Typical Japanese game though. I felt like I was watching anime most of the time but the reason why you should play is simply because of its story. Yeah, the brawling is repetitive after a while but what refreshes it is the combos you can buy. Every battle scene you come across allows you to go buck wild. Button mash all you want but sometimes it actually requires some skill, really near the end. I love how everyone's story connects and items aren't hard to come buy. There are a few things I would've done differently but it adds to the games value. I would say this is a must play.
