I started playing this again with the Isle of Armor of DLC. It's honestly pretty fun. There's a new campaign which doesn't include as much hand holding as you see in the main game. Read moreI started playing this again with the Isle of Armor of DLC. It's honestly pretty fun. There's a new campaign which doesn't include as much hand holding as you see in the main game. The characters it introduces are also fun and interesting. The whole Isle is set up like the Wild Area, which was my favorite part of the core game, so that's a huge bonus. They even added in more Pokemon! They also added a feature which makes it easier to obtain Gigantamax Pokemon, which was a major gripe of mine. So overall it's fun, it fixes some of the problems of the core game, and it includes the upcoming Crown Tundra DLC, so I'd say it's worth the price tag. If you've been on the fence about it and like what you hear, I'd recommend trying it out. If this doesn't change your mind about the game then it's probably just not for you.

Finished. Enjoyed the last hour and a half it took me to finish it after I left it for a month or so. Just listened to an audiobook and cruised through it. Might get into shiny hunting again, not sure at this point. Still hunting the legendaries in Alpha Sapphire.

So.... I uh, actually got swept by the ghost gym leader. My team is actually under levelled which has been a challenge. I'm happy with this defeat in other words, makes it more challenging.

i played pokemon red, yellow and gold. Sniff i was so excited for this game but it's... Um... Meh. It felt uninspired to me. Nothing much exciting stuff. The story was bland. I didnt care for the characters. The content was so short. Even nostalgia didnt save it. Although playing with my boyfriend and friends made me spend more time …

Started this last week. Late Christmas present. I'm enjoying it so far. The visuals are gorgeous - albeit with a fair bit of pop in - but the designs are lovely and feel fresh and vibrant. Leon is an absolute muppet though (WTF is he even wearing?) and the repetition of certain statements is a goddamn meme. Still, I'm having …
Started this last week. Late Christmas present. I'm enjoying it so far. The visuals are gorgeous - albeit with a fair bit of pop in - but the designs are lovely and feel fresh and vibrant. Leon is an absolute muppet though (WTF is he even wearing?) and the repetition of certain statements is a goddamn meme. Still, I'm having fun switching out Pokemon as I find them just to try and give myself a challenge since the EXP Share is overpowered and can't be turned off. This way I'm staying around the same level as the area. Had to backtrack once to get patched up which actually made the battle before it quite challenging.
Team currently sitting around 10-13. Gym badges (?) 0.

Game is awful. First pokemon gen I wasn't able to enjoy. Had to force myself to go through it. Quality is all time low and there's nothing new besides gimmicks. Terrible.
