Weak. Mechanics are the same, and this time it plays it safe by not having the squad-focus of the Spearhead Expansion. The game features three campaigns, of which only the first one is of note, because it's set in Tunisia. You cooperate with a spy and then have to escape a sinking freighter. After the Tunisia campaign you end up in Italy and it's basically your bog-standard WWII FPS romp in Western Europe.
The production values and the music are not up to par with the base game, and as mentioned above, Spearhead is doing more with its additional squad gameplay. CoD1 came out a month later and brought about the slow death of MoH. Hovewer, this still has the comfy feel of an early 2000s WWII FPS. More on the base game and the first expansion.
