I rented this, it’s a great game! My only complaint are the special combo attacks. I find they are getting old.

The fighting aspects of this game are solid, just like any other CC2 anime game. The problem is everything else.

For starters, this should have come out a year or two later. The story only goes through the Mugen Ressha arc and the number of available characters suffers for it. A bunch of the characters are alternative versions and the demons (aside from Nezuko) aren't even playable outside of VS mode. They were scraping the bottom of the barrel so hard they made Murata playable! This would have been better if they'd waited and made the Entertainment District Arc characters part of the main game instead of DLC and even better if they'd waited until the Swordsmith Village arc so they include even more Hashira.

The story is fine if you're already familiar with it. So much stuff is glossed over or made into optional side cutscenes that it would seem super rushed and weird without context. The "exploration" sections of story mode are so obviously just tacked on. They're incredibly bland compared to something like running around Konoha in CC2's Naruto games.

I really really love the anime but this just isn't IT

Somebody bring the CEO of CC2 in here cause if they make one MORE OF THESE LOW EFFORT ARENA BRAWLERS ILL POP

the fighting mechanics themselves are fun enough but walking through empty environments to pick up collectables that you only find because they are marked on the map is simply not FUN. #bringbacktheopenhubexplorationfromNaruto:UNS

imma still complete the story, it's good fan-service (not the senran kagura kind, iykyk) but that's pretty much all it is
