I love this game. I really enjoy it for its simplicity. For really leaning into its cause. For never attempting or pretending to be more than it is: a photography game in a low-poly dog world.
The static dog models tilt, hop, and tumble around, interact with objects (stick, frisbee, robotic vacuum, skateboard, etc), and - with a bark and a spouting of heart emojis - welcome the player (an anthropomorphic camera) to join in their fun.
6 locations, each fully explorable in 10 minutes or less, offer unique backdrops and opportunities for adorable photos. Weather and day/night options unlock progression through photo assignments.
Unfortunately, and this is a deal breaker, Pupperazzi gave me motion sickness within about 10 minutes of play. I gave multiple attempts, tweaked settings, and the result was always the same. This is the first and only game to have this effect on me.
Suggestions welcome because I very much wish to finish this game but I cannot bear the nausea.
Other than photographing a lot of dogs – so many, many dogs – there’s almost nothing else to do. While it remains silly throughout, you’re not able to form any sort of lasting bond with any of these dogs. Your interactions with them are too fleeting, too inconsequential. That cute little pug I found snoozing under the picnic table doesn’t have a name, and she’ll be gone the next time I drop by. I can send you a photo of her I took, I suppose, but we both know you’re just going to delete it.

If you love dogs and cozy games, you will love Pupperazzi. It's delightful. Object detection when taking photos is a bit unreliable sometimes but that doesn't ruin the enjoyment.
Playtime: 5.1 hours for 100% completion.
Super cute game. It's similar to Pokemon Snap, but instead of cute Pokemon, you're taking pics of cute dogs. The spam meter and the limited film space kind of seem pointless and I enjoyed the open-ness less than I thought I would, but still a good time.
I enjoyed it, but I got annoyed with the negative comments on social media haha so I decided not to finish it. Also, I didn't like the mini-missions I honestly just wanted to take pictures of dogs haha.
