"Wait" is a mystery horror game, inspired by the works of H.P Lovecraft and the Silent Hill series. The gameplay is put together by elements of exploration and riddle solving. Experience horror without jump scares or fighting monsters, but with the fear of the unknown and unimaginable.

Who cares about options menus anyway?

Wait is an interesting horror game that is actually creepy, features a bunch of possible endings and changes upon replaying.

Wait is also one of the most player-unfriendly games i have ever played. You can't save, except at checkpoints. There are no options other than turning music and sound effects off - yes, no volume slider. Worse still this also means no text display options. Text is displayed fairly slow and the second time you play the game this gets even more tedious. Speaking of tedious, the game has an unskippable intro and has you manually eat dinner four times each game which is pointless.

I also encountered a CTD bug. I noticed a typo (unfortunetaly) and wanted to take a screenshot with F12. Instead this returns you to the main menu without saving. When i tried to restart, the game crashed. It takes only about half an hour to play through the game, seems a bit short for such a bug to exist.

So yeah, the game is definitely worth playing but in its current state i can't recommend it unless you get it heavily discounted. For €8 you should at least get a bloody volume slider.
