Incredible. I just finished the ‘final’ boss. This was an excellent addition to the Bloodborne experience. I particularly liked the creative re-use of a map I was already familiar with. I’m sure it saved the devs time but also increased my enjoyment of it. Lady Maria was definitely the highlight.

I'm so noob often enough. I've got stucked on the last (optional) boss for 2 or 3 days now. Although theoretically know how to beat him and when to perform my attacks, when it comes the moment to face him somehow everytime I die. Aaaagh, I just... can't. But I'll continue tormenting myself like this until I succeed. xD

Finally started it. Very excited! I had to make NG+, so I bet I'll have a "great time" on this dlc. xD

So, I'm in a state of mourning. I beat one of the most epic bosses I've ever come across (Lady Maria). I found her quite difficult (harder than Ludwig, as I'm not that good at parrying) but after a couple of days of perseverance I looked at her health bar and saw she had about 5% health left and …

So, I'm in a state of mourning. I beat one of the most epic bosses I've ever come across (Lady Maria). I found her quite difficult (harder than Ludwig, as I'm not that good at parrying) but after a couple of days of perseverance I looked at her health bar and saw she had about 5% health left and I realised I was about to defeat her (took her down with a reiterpallasch buffed with fire). I felt sad. If there is one boss I would want to meet over and over again, it would be this one, cutscene and all. Everything about this fight, and her, is just epic.

Finally killed this asshole this morning. I think the hardest thing about that fight is the confined space. Half the time I died because of camera clipping issues lol. Though I wouldn't change a thing; it's a brilliant design decision. By putting the player in this tiny arena you're forced to confront Laurence head-on, learn his AI, dodge all his …

Though I wouldn't change a thing; it's a brilliant design decision. By putting the player in this tiny arena you're forced to confront Laurence head-on, learn his AI, dodge all his attacks. Hard to say if he's the hardest boss in the game. Or perhaps Ludwig? Perhaps they're about even.
